This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made from girlinmindx.shop and is intended to operate consistently with applicable German and European Union consumer protection law.

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

Consumers purchasing goods online generally have the right to withdraw from a qualifying distance sales contract without providing a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods.

Where one order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the relevant withdrawal period generally begins when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the last goods covered by the applicable order.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must communicate a clear statement indicating the decision to withdraw from the contract.

Customers may also use any electronic withdrawal function made available through our Shopify store.

As of June 19, 2026, Shopify advises merchants selling online to EU consumers that an easily accessible electronic withdrawal function must be provided where the applicable EU requirements apply, including confirmation of the withdrawal on a durable medium such as email.

2. Return of Goods Following Withdrawal

After notifying us of withdrawal, the customer must return the goods without undue delay and, in any event, within the legally applicable return period.

The customer is considered to have met the return deadline where the goods are dispatched before the applicable deadline expires.

Customers should contact info@girlinmindx.shop before shipping a return so that appropriate return instructions can be provided.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind statutory withdrawal, unless:

• girlinmindx.shop has expressly agreed to pay those costs;
• the goods are defective or non-conforming and German law requires girlinmindx.shop to pay return costs; or
• applicable law otherwise requires girlinmindx.shop to bear those costs.

German law permits consumers to be responsible for direct withdrawal return costs when they have been appropriately informed of that responsibility.

3. Condition of Returned Goods

Customers may examine goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Customers may be responsible for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect the goods in a physical retail store, where permitted by applicable law.

Whenever reasonably possible, products should be returned with accessories, manuals, labels, and packaging received with the product. The absence or opening of original packaging does not automatically eliminate a statutory withdrawal right where such a restriction would be prohibited by law.

4. Refunds Following Statutory Withdrawal

When a valid statutory withdrawal is exercised, girlinmindx.shop will reimburse payments that must be reimbursed under applicable law.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than the legally applicable deadline, generally within 14 days after we receive notice of withdrawal.

For sales of goods, we may legally withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or the customer provides evidence that the goods have been dispatched, whichever occurs first, unless we have offered to collect the goods ourselves.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is expressly agreed and the customer does not incur charges as a result.

5. Original Delivery Charges

girlinmindx.shop provides free standard shipping on all orders, so customers normally do not pay a standard outbound shipping charge that needs to be reimbursed.

Where a customer has paid additional charges for a premium or expedited delivery method beyond the least expensive standard delivery method offered, those additional premium shipping charges do not have to be reimbursed following statutory withdrawal where applicable law permits. German Civil Code Section 357 expressly distinguishes additional delivery charges resulting from choosing a more expensive shipping option.

6. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain categories of products or services where an exception under applicable law applies.

Depending on the product concerned, exceptions can include:

• goods manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly personalized;
• goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• sealed goods unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been removed;
• certain sealed audio, video, or software products once unsealed;
• qualifying digital content after performance has begun with the required consent and acknowledgement; and
• other products or services specifically excluded under applicable German or EU legislation.

Shopify's current EU guidance identifies these and other categories as potentially exempt from the 14-day withdrawal regime.

7. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Non-Conforming Goods

The statutory withdrawal right is separate from the customer's rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.

If a product arrives damaged, is materially defective, is incorrect, or otherwise does not conform to the applicable sales contract, customers should contact:

Customers should provide the order details and a description of the problem. Photographs may be requested where reasonably useful for evaluating transit damage or another visible defect, but statutory rights will not be denied merely because photographs cannot reasonably be supplied.

Where required by applicable law, girlinmindx.shop will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction, cancellation, or refund.

For legally valid defect claims, return transportation expenses will be borne by girlinmindx.shop where required by law. German consumer-sales law provides that the trader bears relevant return costs when goods are returned in connection with rescission due to defects.

8. Non-Returnable Situations

A return or refund may be refused where:

the applicable statutory withdrawal period has expired and no other statutory right applies; a statutory exception applies; a customer cannot establish that the goods were purchased from girlinmindx.shop; or the claim is otherwise not supported by applicable law or this Policy.

These limitations do not affect mandatory rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.

9. Order Cancellation Before Shipment

Customers who wish to cancel an order before shipment should contact us as quickly as possible at:

If cancellation can be processed before fulfillment or shipment, we will cancel the relevant order and arrange any applicable refund.

If the order has already entered fulfillment or been dispatched, the customer may instead exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal right after delivery.

10. Refund Processing

Once a refund has been issued by girlinmindx.shop, the time required for the refund to appear in the customer's account may depend on the customer's bank, payment provider, card issuer, or payment method.

girlinmindx.shop is not responsible for processing delays occurring solely within an external banking or payment network after a refund has been correctly initiated.

11. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy excludes, limits, or replaces any mandatory statutory consumer right available under German or European Union law.
